STEWART C.W. WEINER, shareholder, is a member of our Complex Litigation and Risk Advisory group. He advises businesses and high net worth individuals and families in business, family law, and trust litigation matters, as well as construction, securities, shareholder and entity disputes, and succession planning issues.

Having practiced on both the transactional and litigation sides, and having earned a Masters of Social Work degree, Stewart takes a unique pragmatic approach to help clients achieve their goals. If necessary—and in the best interest of his clients—he will pursue taking a case to trial or seek an alternative dispute resolution.

Stewart has served as a mediator, arbitrator, and litigant for many years, both privately and for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He has completed the 40-hour domestic relations mediator training and the eight-hour domestic violence screening training. Stewart has a profound commitment to exemplary customer service.

Active in community and charitable endeavors, Stewart is the past president of Jewish Family Service, the past president of the Franklin Baseball League, and has served on the executive committee and board of governors of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit for many years.

His peers have selected him for inclusion in the Michigan edition of Super Lawyers for his work in Family Law and he has been recognized as a Michigan Leading Lawyer in commercial litigation, ADR law: commercial litigation and family, construction law, and family law.
