LAWRENCE Z. PAZOL is of counsel to the firm. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University (Bloomington campus) in 1963 and subsequently was awarded his Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University School of Law in 1966. Mr. Pazol served as an attorney for the Michigan District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration for 30 years from 1974 to 2004. During his tenure with the Small Business Administration, he was awarded Attorney of the Year for the Midwest Region of SBA. His practice with SBA covered the entire gambit from closing, servicing, liquidating and litigating loans. He also approved Section 8(a) contracts for minority businesses and aided many lenders in interpreting SBA regulations.
